Athletic Program Registration
Interscholastic Sports
Registrations for Spring Interscholastic Sports are Monday February 22nd through Friday March 5th in the Health Office at Polson Middle School. Any student wishing to participate must have the required paperwork on file in the Health Office.

The NEW Sports Participation and Consent Form should list ALL sports (regardless of season) in which a student anticipates playing. If a student is anticipating using the Tiger Fitness Center this should also be listed on the form.
The school Emergency Information Form and the Athletic Emergency Information Sheet have been combined, and now need only be completed at the beginning of each school year. Again, any sport which a student anticipates playing (regardless of season) should be listed on this form.
The physical form and the Code of conduct Contract must be completed each year.
Registration fee of $50.00 for WC Polson Middle School interscholastic sports will be collected by coaches when uniforms are distributed.
Forms may be dowloaded or picked up from the Health Office or the Athletics Office at DHHS.
Academic Eligibility Requirements for Students - Athletes
To be eligible for fall sports a student must have received credit toward graduation for four courses of study for which he/she has not previously received credit.
A student-athlete cannot, AT ANY TIME, represent the school unless he/she is enrolled in at least four courses. During the school year a student must PASS at least four courses in the trimester preceding the athletic season. No unit of work for which a student has previously received credit shall be included in those required by this rule.
Freshmen may compete the FIRST trimester regardless of marks received in 8th grade. After the first trimester the acadmic eligibility rules outlined above will apply.
Intramurals Sports
In order to participate in any of the intramural sports offered, students must register for these activities ONLY during the timelines outlined below. There will be no pre- or late registrations.
Session I September 7 - 11, 2009
Session II January 11 - 15, 2010
Session III March 1 - 5, 2010
Most programs are limited to 30 students. The exceptions are tennis and golf, which are limited to twenty. Participants are enrolled in the order in which they register.
In order to complete the registration process the following steps must be completed:

2. A $25.00 fee, check made payable to “WPMS” (Please – no cash.)
