I regret to inform you that It was just confirmed that four buses leaving Daniel Hand High School this afternoon were struck by what appears to be a projectile from a BB gun after leaving school grounds. One window on one bus was damaged and minor injuries occurred to two students as a result. Medical attention was not required and the students were transported home on another bus. The matter has been handed over to the Madison Police Department and transportation will continue uninterrupted. I can assure you that will we work with the Madison Police Department as they conduct their investigation and work together to ensure the safety of our students.
