Dear Island Avenue Families,
Dr. Seuss' birthday is next week, and we'll be celebrating! As always, Mrs. Bizier will teach about Dr. Seuss during the students' weekly visits to the library, and classroom teachers will share favorite Dr. Seuss books as read-alouds. But that is not all, oh no, that is not all!
On Thursday, March 2 (Dr. Seuss' birthday), Island students and staff are invited to wear crazy mismatched clothes and socks to honor Seuss' inimitable style. Also on Thursday, students will enjoy favorite Dr. Seuss videos while they eat lunch in the cafeteria. Finally, our 4th grade students will share 'Seuss-isms' every day during morning announcement.
