September 15, 2017 NEWSLETTER RYERSON CARES
Dear Ryerson Families, As we all know, Hurricane Irma and Harvey have caused great loss and destruction for Texas and Florida. At Ryerson School, we want to help our fellow Americans. Students at Ryerson have brainstormed and decided the best way to help is to collect items for the children impacted by Harvey and Irma. We are asking our Ryerson community to collect pajamas for us to send to the children in Texas and Florida. Please consider giving to this important cause by purchasing a pair of new "summer-like" light weight pajamas for children. Pajama collections will take place between Monday, September 18th and Friday, September 29th. Bins will be placed in each classroom for students to drop their pajama donation off in. The classroom with the most pajamas collected will "win" a pajama party for the day in their room. Please consider supporting this important effort. I am proud to share that this idea was generated from two of our fourth grade students: Eden Woods and Lilyana Signore! I am proud of their efforts to reach out and help fellow children in need.
