One School, One Book

Oct. 1, 2021 – Today, students participated in assemblies to kick-off the One School, One Book Events! With a donation from the PTO, the school was able to purchase a copy of The Story Puppy for every Jeffrey student. Jeffrey Principal Mrs. Frost read Chapter 1 to the students and then reviewed some exciting activities planed for students and families over the next week!

During the week of Oct. 4 students will hold a collection drive for pet supplies for the Valley Shore Animal Welfare League, share videos of their own pets, and participate in a spirit day. Each evening students will read a new chapter of the book with their families or by tuning into the school’s YouTube channel to hear chapters read by a member of the Jeffrey Staff.
