Thank you for visiting the Walter C. Polson Middle School website! Polson Middle School, in Madison, Connecticut, is a dynamic and exciting place to work or to go to school. Over 80 staff members and approximately 550 students (in grades seven and eight) share learning experiences and extra-curricular activities that encourage critical and creative thinking, collaboration and communication, as well as self-direction and global awareness. Our talented, dedicated teachers and staff work with the parents and community to provide a positive, safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment that serves the unique educational, social, physical, and emotional needs of middle school-aged children. We offer children a strong academic program, one that exposes them to a wide variety of disciplines including: Spanish, French, computers, arts, health, band, orchestra, theater, musical theater, chorus, and physical education.
The Polson Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an active and strong partnership; we encourage you to join!
