On May 26, Brown Intermediate Grade 5 students went to the West Cemetery on Route 1 in Madison to listen to Polson Grade 7 and 8 students present biographies of Madison service members. Students focused on service members who served in wars prominent in our curriculum. At the end of the student presentation, all students listened to a presentation on gravestone preservation and viewing the stones as a form of historical artifact.
