Polson Hosts VEX IQ Robotics Tournament

Polson Middle School hosted its first VEX IQ Robotics tournament this past Saturday.  All 6 of our teams had 6 qualifying matches in the morning with 3 of our teams - 1695A, 1695B and 1695E -qualifying for the tournament in the afternoon.  The 1695E team (Emma Mannix, Brennan Catino, Jack Varone and Josh Lee) finished 2^nd out of 34 teams. The 1695A team (Robbie Ginsburg, Patrick Coulis, David Bixon and Landon Hendershot) finished 5^th. The 1695B team (Own Swift, Eric Raknsis, Nathan Becker and Aiden DeRusso) finished 10^th.  Congratulations are also in order for our 1695E team who won the Design Award which qualifies them for the state tournament in March. Please congratulate these 3 teams and all of our robotics team members for a great job!
