Brown Book Share Revitalized for Read Across America

Read Across America is the nation's largest celebration of reading. To celebrate, the Brown community revitalized the Brown Book Share. The book share was paused during COVID but this week students were invited to bring gently used books for intermediate school students to the Brown Library. Students could then grab a book that was of interest to them. By mid-week, student had already brought in more than 1000 books!  

In addition to the Share, Librarian Sandra Bizier asked staff to share their favorite books growing up. The books were then posted all over the school for students to look at.
