Grade 4 Writing Celebration

On April 22, students invited their families to school for a special event celebrating their writing.

Brown Grade 4 students recently studied two amazing nonfiction authors: Seymour Simon and Steve Jenkins. Students explored the structures, craft moves and styles that these authors use to teach readers about interesting topics. Students then researched an animal of their choice and created a mini informational book that includes pages in the style of Simon and Jenkins.
