Students Weigh in on Curriculum Writing Process
Earlier this month students at Brown Intermediate had the chance to add their voice to the curriculum review process. The District reviews, revises, and renews its curriculum at regular intervals. Currently the district is writing and revising the Wellness curriculum and the Music curriculum. Staff members leading the work have been holding small focus groups at each school over the last several months to give students a chance to weigh in on what they like, what they don’t like, and what they might like to see added to the curriculum in these subject areas. Close to 100 students at Brown were eager to share their thoughts and opinions!
