Crazy for Books Day
"Connecticut Loves to Read Week".
We have a full week of literary fun for our students. We will kick off the week with a "Magic of Books" assembly. Thank you to our PTO for funding this assembly for our students. Each day is a theme for our students. The plan will be:
February 27th - "Crazy for Books Day" - Wear your craziest hat, socks or hairstyle on this day to join the literary fun!
February 28th - "Team up for Reading Day" - Wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt on this day to show your reading spirit!
March 1st - "Reading Takes You Great Places" - Wear your favorite vacation t-shirt or sweatshirt to share in the fun!
March 2nd - "Guess Who?" We all have a favorite book character. Now is your chance to share it with your friends. Dress up as your favorite character day will be the theme today.
March 3rd - "Cozy up with a Good Book" - Wear your pajamas today and get ready to snuggle up with a good book today with your friends.
