Nite in Hand:  This is it! We Need Your Help!

 

It is hard to believe that June is upon us and graduation and Nite in Hand are just around the corner! So many people have been working very hard to be sure that graduation night is a special and safe one for the class of 2011. It is all coming together and the night will be fantastic!

But we need more help! We need volunteers for set up, chaperoning and clean up...please consider sharing some time on June 23^rd to 24^th and being part of this amazing and fun event. To get involved, contact the Nite in Hand volunteer coordinator Betsy Morgan.

And if you are not a night owl, there are other ways you can help. We need baked desserts for the Nite in Hand event as well as bags of wrapped candy (think Halloween) for the Candy Bar. We also need bags of chips and other salty snacks for the kids that night. To donate food for the evening, contact Lynn Makara.

The final monthly meeting for Nite in Hand 2011 will be held this Tuesday, June 7^th at 7 PM in the DHHS Library Media Center. Then, when our meeting ends around 8 PM, we will adjourn to the St. Margaret’s warehouse on Academy Street where the Decorations Committee and volunteers have been busy creating the amazing setting for an incredible Nite in Hand! Come to the meeting and get a sneak peek at the decorations that will transform Hand High School into a secret destination for the class of 2011!

We need you to help make this the best graduation night possible! If you were waiting to see what would be needed at the end, this is the time to step in. Please plan to be involved and make a difference for our kids!
