How Weather May Impact DHHS Schedule

Dear parents/guardians and students:

If there is no school on Wednesday, due to the pending snow storm, when students return to school on Thursday they will take their period 3 & 4 exams. In such case the SAT will be rescheduled for April 24 and 25. Similarly, if there were to be no school on Wednesday and Thursday when students return on Friday they would again proceed to take their day 2 exams (periods 3 & 4). After period 3 & 4 exams are taken students will take their period 5 & 6 exams on the next scheduled school day.

If there is a delayed opening on any exam day when students arrive to school they will attend the first scheduled exam period of that day.

With an unpredictable forecast we have encouraged students to take their books and materials home with them today so they are prepared for the Day 2 exams on Thursday should school be cancelled tomorrow.

A reminder that presently today, Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23, are shortened exam days as they have been in the past. First period exams are scheduled from 7:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. and second period exams from 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.. Buses arrive at the conclusion of the second period exam.

*Students attending the Vibe field trip to Nashville that departs on March 22nd are encouraged to speak with their teachers, if they have not done so already to schedule a time to make-up any exams they may be missing.
