Super Hero Day at Ryerson Elementary School – April 27th
"Do the Right Thing….All the Time…Even when No one is looking…because it's the right thing to do!"
On April 27th, Ryerson Elementary School will participate in a school-wide closing circle assembly. The theme for our assembly is everyone can be a superhero! Superheroes are among us every day and their power is in their positive actions toward others.
In preparation for our school-wide assembly, classes will be discussing the following ideas:
· What makes an "everyday" person a superhero?
· What does a superhero look like? What do superheroes say and do among us?
· What would make every day "superhero status days"?
On April 27th, students may wear a Superhero T-Shirt bought or handmade to support school spirit. No costumes should be worn.
Our Closing Circle Assembly will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. It should be a fun assembly for all students with an important and powerful message! If you should have any questions, please contact me at 203-245-6440 or at spoonerk@madison.k12.ct.us
