All parents with students in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend our Guidance and Counseling Department's annual College Planning Night this Thursday, October 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the Daniel Hand High School Dining and Assembly Hall. The presentation will focus on the realities of paying for college and how to do it without bankrupting your retirement. Guest Speaker and Financial Advisor, Charles Wareham, will discuss such topics as:

* Best loans in today's economy and types you should avoid.

* How to make the most of the financial aid system.

* How to negotiate your financial aid package.

* Resources for scholarships and when to apply.

* Top myths about who qualifies for financial aid, and more!
