Halloween at Ryerson

Dear Ryerson Families,

Tomorrow is Halloween!  A very exciting day in elementary schools.  I would like to remind all families our plans for Halloween.

Students are allowed to wear a costume to school on Wednesday, October 31st.  On the 31st, we will all gather, in costume, in the multi-purpose room to enjoy a "Halloween Laser Light Magic Show".  This will be followed by a Halloween treat for students back in their classrooms.  After all of these exciting spooky events take place, students will pack up their costumes, place them in their backpacks and resume their regular classroom schedule and routines.

Students should wear costumes over their regular clothing.  I am asking that students not bring in any accessories that may go along with their costume; such as pretend swords, wands, ropes, etc.  Although these enhance a costume, these can be both distracting and unsafe in a school setting.  I appreciate your support with this request.

Due to our need to adhere to room capacity and our limited parking, this event will be for students only.  Again, I appreciate your understanding with this request.

Lastly, there is no school on Thursday, November 1st.

Have a great day!
