Ryerson Elementary School Celebrates Dr. Seuss! 

 

Happy Birthday to you, Dr. Seuss – Let's Celebrate ~ February 25th through March 1st

 

Ryerson Families,

 

We will celebrate the work of Dr. Seuss and all the fun that is generated from his work.  Our staff is preparing for a fun week, get your children ready to riddle and rhyme their way through a week of good literacy fun!

 

We will have School Spirit Days each day during this week.  Please read the events below.

Monday, February 25th: Sessical Magician one schoolwide show at 1:30pm

 

*Spirit Day:  Students can wear crazy socks today!  

 

Tuesday, February 26th: All School Read Aloud Assembly (9:15-9:30): 1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish  

*Spirit Day:  Students come dressed in red & white or even blue too today! 

 

Wednesday, February 27th: WACKY WEDNESDAY! Dr. Seuss Mystery Readers to visit the classrooms!

 

 *Spirit Day:  Students can wear either wacky Hair/Hat to school! 

 

Thursday, February 28th: Dr. Seuss Movie Mania!  Dr. Seuss movies will be playing during the lunch waves for children to enjoy!

 

*Spirit Day:  In celebration of Dr. Seuss' The Sleep Book, students can come dressed in PJs to school! 

 

Friday, March 1st: All School Assembly at 9:15 – 9:35.  Ryerson Reader's Theater group presents Dr. Seuss Birthday Tribute.

 

*Spirit Day: Students may come to school dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss Character!
