Tuesday Updates from Mrs. Frost

Dear Island Avenue Families,

Here are a few updates for you on this Tuesday afternoon!

1. Science Month is off to a great start! Students have enjoyed Coolology lessons and one of our three planned assemblies: Magic of Science, Fire and Ice and Forces of Motion. If you are planning to participate in our Science Fair on the evening of March 27, please be sure to submit the "Science Method" form to your child's teacher. For more information, please visit the PTO website.

2. Lost and Found Alert! Be sure to check our lost and found tables soon. All clothing items left here will be donated over the April break.

3. Reminder! There will be a District-Wide Elementary PTO meeting at Ryerson School tomorrow night at 7:00pm. Mr. Scarice will be going over the 2019-2020 budget.

4. Lastly, be sure to check out "Island in the News!" So proud of our teachers and students.
