January 28, 2020 Sophomore Parents - Nite In Hand Dear Grade 10 Parents:
Nite In Hand is an evening of celebration held on the night of graduation. It allows DHHS graduates to spend the entire night celebrating together in a safe, substance-free environment. Statistics show that graduation night is one of the most dangerous nights for teenagers. Our goal is keeping the graduates and community safe on graduation night!
A successful Nite In Hand depends on great parent/community participation. We need DHHS parents from all grades – Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior, plus family/friends to volunteer. The following leadership roles are available to fill:
- Solicitations Co-Chairs - Logistics Chair - Set-Up Co-Chair - Break-Down Co-Chair - Auction Co-Chairs - Entertainment Chair - Bingo Chair - Security Chair - Student Check-In/Check-Out Chair - Valet Parking Chair
PLEASE consider helping out this year in a leadership or volunteer role. Just click on the "I Want To Help" button on the Nite In Hand webpage link below.
Beyond the volunteer hours, there are significant costs associated with putting on Nite In Hand and we want the tradition to continue for years to come. We need your help. Please consider being a Parent Sponsor. Just click on the "Parent Sponsorship" button on the Nite In Hand webpage, complete the form, send your donation to our treasurer and know that we will be forever in your debt!
If you have any questions, please contact your Sophomore NIH parent representative – Lisa Ostop at rlostop@comcast.net.
Thank you for volunteering. Your help is truly appreciated.
