April 17, 2020 Message from Mrs. Spooner April 17, 2020
Dear Ryerson Families,
Today concludes our third week of Distance Learning. It is my hope for all families that each day of this new format has brought greater ease and success for your child and for you!
The Student Packets for Week Four will be ready for pick-up this morning after 10:00 a.m. The pick-up bins are located in the front entrance of our building. If you are dropping off student work from Week Three, I would ask that you please place the work in an envelope in the bin marked "Drop-off". These bins are also located in the front entrance. I would ask that if you are dropping off and/or picking up materials to drop off your child's library books as well.
As always, the Week Four packets will be available for pick-up all weekend and throughout next week. This is the same for dropping off your child's work as well. The option to drop off work is available all weekend.
Just a reminder, the BOE has approved Spring Break to be held May 4th through May 8th. There will be no expectation for distance learning during this time. In addition, the BOE approved June 18th as the last day of the 2019-2020 school year.
I hope your child is joining me for the reading of our "One School-One Book" series. These readings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.
Lastly, Kindergarten Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is open. If you have a child ready to enter Kindergarten, please complete the registration forms located on the MPS district webpage. We look forward to having your children join our learning community!
I wish you all a wonderful weekend! If you have any concerns, questions and/or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at 203-245-6440 or at spoonerk@madison.k12.ct.us
Stay healthy! Stay safe!
