The first PTO meeting will be on Tuesday, October 4 at 8:00 a.m. in the DHHS faculty room.  Doreen Mantilia, Math Department Program Coordinator, will attend.

The PTO works to increase communication between home and school and to plan programs in support of school initiatives.  New members are always welcome and attached is the link to become a member. 

Rachel's Challenge

The PTO is co-sponsoring Rachel's Challenge on Thursday, October 6 at Daniel Hand High School.  Rachel's Challenge is a program based on the writing and life of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim of the Columbine School Shootings in 1999.  This program consists of a school assembly, a peer training session, and an evening, community event open to the public at 7:00 p.m. in the DHHS Dining and Assembly Hall.
