September 30,2021 DHHS Student Survey
Good morning Daniel Hand High School students,
We are beginning a process of Self-Reflection as part of the NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) Accreditation process. All students, families, and faculty members will complete surveys to provide us with feedback. We hope to learn more about what is working well for you and identify areas for growth and improvement as teachers and as a school. The purpose of this survey is to gather your opinions about how well our school is meeting your needs. The survey is confidential and the faculty will use your responses to help us improve our school. The results will influence teachers and school leaders as they consider areas of growth and improvement in our school. It is important for you to have a voice in these decisions.
The survey tool is very easy to use and works well on a computer, tablet, or phone. Please work on your own, take your time, and answer all questions as accurately, thoughtfully, and honestly as possible. Once you begin the survey, you cannot restart so please complete the entire survey during today's PAW session. (Please do not complete this survey until you are in your PAW location.)
Please note that the second half of the survey will ask you to answer questions about a specific class:
"For the questions below, please think about your first class of the day this Monday. If you did not have a class first period this Monday or that class was a study hall, think of your second period class."
If you did not have a class that a question in the survey is referring to, please think of another class during your schedule and answer the questions based on that particular class. All students are encouraged to complete this survey. If you are hesitant about doing so, please ask your PAW teacher if you can meet with an administrator during the PAW period to discuss any hesitation you are having in more detail.
Thank you in advance for completing this important survey.
Mr. Salutari
