October 28, 2021 Good Afternoon Ryerson Families,
It has been a Spooktacular week here on the hill! The energy and enthusiasm each day felt within the classrooms and the hallways has been palpable. From "science pumpkin fun" to "PE Halloween Fun Stations", the children have had a memorable week here on the hill.
In addition to Halloween fun, this month has been equally exciting as it relates to curriculum and instruction. Check out the academic accomplishments being made at each grade level at Ryerson.
Tomorrow is the final Halloween Spirit Day. The students may wear their Halloween costume, if they wish to do so. If students come to school in costume, they will wear the costume all day. I would encourage the costumes to be comfortable and not overly cumbersome for the children. Also, I would ask that props related to your child's costume be enjoyed on Halloween and not brought to school. We wouldn't want these extra "props" to be left behind on Friday and not be accessible to your child on Halloween night!
Just a reminder, there is no school on Tuesday, November 2nd due to Staff Professional Development. School resumes for all on Wednesday, November 3rd. I wish you all a fun weekend with your children. Be safe! Enjoy! |
