Dear Parents, On Monday, April 11th at 6pm, the Polson Middle School and Brown Intermediate School PTOs will co-host "Keeping You Safe Online: What Every Person Should Know" in the Polson Middle School Auditorium. This multi-award-winning program, presented by nationally featured speaker, Richard Guerry, will eliminate the myths that anonymity, social privacy and disappearing digital content is possible. Topics covered will include preventing cyber cruelty, safe communication in gaming, public databases and digital transparency, poor social media and oversharing behaviors, and other current issues in the cyber world. Attendees will gain knowledge to promote responsible use of digital tools, while also obtaining wisdom to prevent negative, irresponsible, and malicious online behaviors and trends. A must attend presentation for ANY parent whose children have access to the Internet! Dr. Craig Cooke, Superintendent of Schools, will also be giving a brief presentation on the education budget prior to referendum in May. This event is open to all parents and community members!
