Hand Tigers with Paw Print

Registration for Fall Sports is now open and all student athletes must be registered before the deadline of June 28th. This allows our office staff, the nursing office and athletic trainer enough time to check if students are eligible to participate. Late registrations will affect eligibility status. If the June 28th deadline is missed, student athletes will be withheld from team activities (conditioning workouts), camps etc.  We urge all students that are on the fence about participating in a sport, to register. It allows the coaches and athletic department to know a student is interested. Head Coaches will be having informational meetings over the next several weeks for student athletes after school.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

In order to be able to participate:

1. Register on FamilyID - before the June 28th deadline. Registering and handing physicals in after this deadline will affect the ability for student athletes to start on the first day.

2. Physical Examination-  Have a current physical on file with the school nurse. Please note that physicals are valid for 13 months. This information can be found in your FamilyID account.

If your physical exam is scheduled for over the summer. Please drop the paperwork off to the main office so it can be processed as soon as you have it.

3. School Obligation - Hand in any equipment, uniforms, etc if a student athlete participated in the fall and or a winter sport. If any student athlete has not handed in their equipment they will not be allowed to participate. This information can  be found in your FamilyID profile under School Obligation.

5. Impact Testing- All student athletes must take an Impact Test before they can participate. This test only needs to be taken every two years. Coaches and our Athletic Trainer will be contacting students who need to take it. This information can be found in your FamilyID profile under Impact testing.

6. Athletic Eligibility - According to the Student Athlete Handbook a student must be enrolled and pass four classes in order to participate. A student’s third trimester final grades will determine eligibility (not the year end grade). A student's academic standing will be updated in the FamilyID profile once the trimester concludes.

Please check your team page regularly for updates on tryouts and practice schedules. For any sport/program specific questions please contact the coach directly. Best way to reach coaches is via email.  Official start date for Fall Sports is August 19th with the exception of football which is August 15th.  The CIAC is the one who sets these dates and they are universal across the state. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
