ImPACT Testing
Daniel Hand Athletics uses ImPACT baseline testing as part of its concussion-management program. Student-athletes who are due for baseline testing must complete the requirement before participation as directed by the Athletic Department and Athletic Trainer.
The test is completed using the current Daniel Hand at-home instructions. Student-athletes should complete it in a quiet environment, follow all directions carefully, and avoid distractions so the baseline is valid. Families will be notified if a student needs to repeat the test.
ImPACT is one tool used in concussion management. It does not replace medical evaluation, and return-to-play decisions are made through the approved medical process.
