Winter 2024 Sports Registration:
Winter Sports registration is now open until 11/18 and 11/22 for Polson and Hand, respectively. See below for more information on proper steps for registration.

WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION
All student-athletes must be registered by November 22nd to ensure eligibility for participation. This deadline allows our office staff, school nurse, and athletic trainer ample time to verify that students meet the necessary requirements.
Given the timing of Thanksgiving break and the start of Winter Sports, meeting this deadline is crucial. Students who register after November 22nd may not be eligible to participate in the first few days of practices or tryouts. If you’re unsure about participating, we encourage you to register, as it helps coaches and the athletic department gauge interest.

Requirements for Participation:
- Register on FamilyID:
Complete your registration by November 22nd. Late registrations may impact a student-athlete's ability to start on time. Register early, using this WINTER REGISTRATION LINK, to ensure you're cleared to participate from day one. - Physical Examination:
Ensure that a current physical is on file with the school nurse. Physicals are valid for 13 months. Check your FamilyID account for your physical’s expiration date. - Return Fall Sports Equipment:
If you participated in a fall sport, return all equipment and uniforms. Failure to do so will prevent you from participating in Winter Sports. This can be confirmed in your FamilyID profile under “School Obligation.” - Impact Testing:
All student-athletes must complete an Impact Test. The test is required every two years, and our coaches and Athletic Trainer will contact students who need to take it. Check your FamilyID profile for details under “Impact Testing.” - Athletic Eligibility:
As outlined in the Student-Athlete Handbook and CIAC guidelines, students must be enrolled in and passing at least four classes to be eligible. First trimester final grades will determine eligibility, and academic standing will be updated in your FamilyID profile after the trimester ends.

Creating a Family ID Account
The Athletic Department is excited to announce that we will now be using an online process with FamilyID for Daniel Hand High School and Polson Middle School interscholastic sports registration.
Anyone playing a sport MUST register using the online sport registration system, FamilyID.
You will also use this program to submit emergency contact information, and to sign off on other registration documents without the need for completing multiple forms.
All Registrations and updated physicals must be completed before the first practice.
If you already have a Family ID account, please login to your account BEFORE registering to avoid creating a duplicate account.

- Click the Register button and login to FamilyID. First time users will need to create an account with FamilyID.
- Under the “Programs” title, click on the link for the program you want to sign up for. Scroll to bottom of page to either Sign Up or Login as a Family or Individual
- Sign Up for your secure FamilyID account by entering your family name, email address and password. You will receive an email with a link to confirm your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folders.)
- Click on the link in your email confirmation, which will log you in to FamilyID and then complete the information requested on the registration form. When you have completed the form, click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Review your registration summary and click “Confirm Registration” to submit. Once completed, you will receive an email receipt from registrations@familyid.com. You can also view your completed registration on your Dashboard. You can log into FamilyID at any time to update your information and to check your registration(s).
