Spring Sports registration is now open until Tuesday, 3/11. See below for more information on the proper steps for registration.

SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION
Registration for Spring Sports is now open, and all student-athletes must be registered before the deadline of Tuesday, March 11th. This allows our office staff, the nursing office, and the athletic trainer enough time to check if students are eligible to participate. Late registrations will affect eligibility status. If a student-athlete registers after this date, they will not be eligible to participate in the first few days of practices/tryouts. We urge all students on the fence about participating in a sport to register. It allows the coaches and athletic department to know if a student is interested. Head Coaches will have informational meetings for student-athletes over the next several weeks after school. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
To be able to participate:
- Register on FamilyID - before the March 11th Deadline. Registering after this deadline will affect student-athlete's ability to start on the first day.

- Physical Examination- Have a current physical on file with the school nurse. Please note that physicals are valid for 13 months. This information can be found in your FamilyID account.
- School Obligation - Hand in any equipment, uniforms, etc, if a student-athlete participated in the fall and/or a winter sport. If any student-athlete has not handed in their equipment or owes fees, they will not be allowed to participate. This information can be found in your FamilyID profile under School Obligation.
- Impact Testing- All student-athletes must take an Impact Test before they can participate. This test only needs to be taken every two years. Coaches and our Athletic Trainer will contact students who need to take it. This information can be found in your FamilyID profile under Impact testing.
- Athletic Eligibility - According to the Student-Athlete Handbook, a student must be enrolled and pass four classes in order to participate. A student’s second-trimester final grade will determine eligibility. A student's academic standing will be updated in the FamilyID profile once the trimester concludes.
Please regularly check the athletic home page for tryouts and practice schedule updates. For any sport/program-specific questions, please contact the coach directly. The best way to reach coaches is via email. The official start date for Spring Sports is March 22nd. Baseball and Softball are allowed to have a limited number of pitchers and catchers to start March 15th. This group is selected by the coaching staff.

Creating a Family ID Account
The Athletic Department is excited to announce that we will now be using an online process with FamilyID for Daniel Hand High School and Polson Middle School interscholastic sports registration.
Anyone playing a sport MUST register using the online sport registration system, FamilyID.
You will also use this program to submit emergency contact information, and to sign off on other registration documents without the need for completing multiple forms.
All Registrations and updated physicals must be completed before the first practice.
If you already have a Family ID account, please login to your account BEFORE registering to avoid creating a duplicate account.

- Click the Register button and login to FamilyID. First time users will need to create an account with FamilyID.
- Under the “Programs” title, click on the link for the program you want to sign up for. Scroll to bottom of page to either Sign Up or Login as a Family or Individual
- Sign Up for your secure FamilyID account by entering your family name, email address and password. You will receive an email with a link to confirm your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folders.)
- Click on the link in your email confirmation, which will log you in to FamilyID and then complete the information requested on the registration form. When you have completed the form, click the “Save & Continue” button.
- Review your registration summary and click “Confirm Registration” to submit. Once completed, you will receive an email receipt from registrations@familyid.com. You can also view your completed registration on your Dashboard. You can log into FamilyID at any time to update your information and to check your registration(s).
