Cultural Experiences in Spanish Classes

Mrs. Gauley's Spanish classes recently participated in an altar decoration contest for Day of the Dead; creating altars that represented influential Spanish-speaking people. They learned about the cultural importance of this holiday and what the elements of the altar represent. They had an opportunity to try pan de muerto (Day of the Dead bread) from Isabel’s bakery in Milford, CT.
