DHHS Band & Orchestra Perform in Los Angeles

75 students from the DHHS Band and Orchestra travelled to the Los Angeles area December 7-11 and had an absolutely wonderful trip. In addition to performing in a Disneyland parade (marching band) and a film studio workshop (orchestra), both groups performed patriotic pieces on the USS IOWA, a World War II battleship stationed in Los Angeles harbor. Sightseeing included Joshua Tree National Park, Hollywood Boulevard, Paramount Studios, Griffith Observatory, and Venice Beach. Eight dedicated chaperones including directors Taralyn Bulyk and John Gage accompanied the group. It was an unforgettable trip that none of them will ever forget!
