DHHS National Blue Ribbon School Celebration

On Dec. 10 members of the Daniel Hand High School faculty, members of the MPS Administration, and State and local officials gathered for a celebration of Hand’s recognition as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School. Speakers included DHHS Principal Anthony Salutari, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Craig Cooke, Connecticut State Department of Education Chief Performance Officer Ajit Gopalakrishnan, State Senator Christine Cohen, State Representative John-Michael Parker, Madison First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons, and Madison Board of Education Chair Seth Klaskin.  

Officials presented the high school administration with proclamations from the Governor, the Connecticut General Assembly, and the Town of Madison.
