DHHS Students Attend Talking Science Program in NYC
On January 20th, eight DHHS students braved the cold to attend the annual Talking Science program held at the prestigious Rockefeller University in New York City. This year’s presenter was a neuroscientist who discussed the science behind facial recognition and the cutting-edge research being used to study brain functioning. After the presentation, students explored interactive demonstrations, talked to graduate students about career/college advice, and participated in an informal Q & A session with the scientist.
