Former Hand Exchange Student and Current Danish National Fencing Coach Visits DHHS

Danish National Fencing Coach, Malte Trier Mørch visited Daniel Hand High School on March 20. A former DHHS exchange student, he took the time to come visit the Hand fencing team during his trip to the United States. He spent an hour and a half with the team talking about his experiences at Hand, his journey from fencing himself, to becoming a coach, and eventually becoming the Danish National Team coach. He and the students talked about Denmark and the differences in cultures and students had the chance to ask him lots of questions to improve their own fencing!
