National Honor Society Induction Spring 2021

A total of 118 Daniel Hand High School Juniors and Seniors were recently inducted into the National Honor Society. The induction ceremony took place in person.

NHS is a international organization dedicated to honoring student academic achievement and encouraging student participation in school activities and community service. Students who met the academic criteria (a Weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher) were invited to seek membership. Evaluation of potential members is based on the following criteria: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Members of Hand NHS work with other students as peer tutors, assist in various service events during the school year, and help to organize the activities fair for incoming freshmen.

Congratulations to all new members.
