Students Attend Youth Advocacy Day in Hartford

On Earth Day, April 22, eight Daniel Hand students and Mr. Bizier visited the Capitol Building in Hartford for Youth Advocacy Day. During the trip, the students had a tour of the Capitol Building, met with other environmentally-minded high school students and Connecticut legislators, and learned how to engage in local/state environmental policy decisions. The day was hosted by the Sunrise Movement CT.
