Tiger Commitment Ceremony

On May 3, the Madison Public Schools Athletic Department honored members of the Class of 2023 who have committed to playing Division 2 or 3 college athletics at a special Tiger Commitment Ceremony at Daniel Hand High School. At the event, athletics officials announced all of the seniors, their sport, and the college/university/academy where they will continue their academic and athletic careers.

Following the ceremony, Director of Athletics Chris Farrell shared some remarks with the senior athletes.

“As you embark on this new chapter in your lives, I encourage you to stay focused, stay dedicated, and always strive to be your best,” he said. “Remember to keep your priorities in order, and to stay true to the values that have gotten you this far. Bring that Tiger pride and determination with you and always remember you have an entire community here in Madison supporting you. We know you will continue to make us proud…Go Tigers!”

NCAA Division 1 signings were hosted earlier in the year.
