Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the School Counseling Department at Daniel Hand High School,

We are proud to be part of your child’s high school journey and are committed to supporting their academic, social-emotional, and post-secondary development every step of the way. High school is a time of significant growth, exploration, and preparation for the future, and we are here to help guide students—and their families—through it all.

We recognize the important role families play in a student’s success. Whether it’s navigating academic challenges, planning for college or careers, or addressing personal concerns, we value collaboration and open communication with parents and guardians.

We encourage you to reach out to your child’s school counselor at any time with questions or concerns. Counselors are available by email or phone, and we often provide updates through PTO meetings and school newsletters.

Your partnership is important to us, and we look forward to working together to support your child’s continued growth and success.

Warmly,
The School Counseling Team
