Seniors-Year-End
May 15, 2024
To the Members of the Class of 2024 and Parents/Guardians:
A major milestone in your lives and another chapter in the action-packed story of Daniel Hand High School is nearly upon us. I thought a letter at this time would serve to answer some popular questions and also allow you an opportunity to plan for the busy days ahead.
College/Future Plans Announcement Day
Seniors are invited to have a photo taken while wearing their college/university attire during lunch waves on Wednesday, May 22nd. If a student has other future plans or is undecided at this time, they are still encouraged to participate and can wear DHHS gear or other gear that signifies their future plans. Each student will pose in front of the monument near the traffic circle for a photo and then safely return to their class. A digital show of this event will be created and shared with the Class of 2024 and posted on various media outlets including the district-wide website. Finally, if a student is unable to attend this event, a picture can be sent via email to either of the following addresses: salutari.anthony@madisonps.org or roos.zoe@madisonps.org. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be postponed to Thursday, May 23.
