The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood is offering free access to the Sparkler app for all families with children ages 0–5 living in Connecticut.

Sparkler is an easy-to-use, evidence-based mobile app—available in both English and Spanish—that helps families track and support their child’s healthy development through fun, engaging, and educational tools.

What Sparkler Offers Families:

• 📈 Developmental Screenings
  Sparkler includes tools to monitor your child’s social-emotional, cognitive, communication, and physical development using trusted assessments like the Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®).
   
• 🎨 Play-Based Learning Activities
  Access a growing library of 1,500+ learning activities created by early childhood experts to support your child’s development through play.
   
• 💬 Personalized Tips & Messaging
  Receive helpful messages and guidance tailored to your child’s developmental stage. If additional support is needed after a screening, Sparkler partners with 211 Child Development to connect families with the right resources.
   

By using Sparkler, you’re giving your child a strong start—right from your phone. When communities and schools share Sparkler, more Connecticut families can access vital tools that help children grow, learn, and thrive.
