MPS Teachers Present at ATOMIC Conference

MPS teachers Stacey Daly, Rene Chin, and Nick Merullo presented at the March ATOMIC Conference on the District’s use of vertical boards and productive struggle in mathematics instruction. ATOMIC is an organization that works to ensure every Connecticut student receives world-class education in mathematics by providing vision, leadership and support to the K-16 mathematics community and by providing every teacher of mathematics the opportunity to grow professionally. Conference organizers were so impressed by the MPS team’s presentation that they have been invited back to present again in May!
