This week students celebrated a love of literacy during Read Across America week with spirit days and fun events. In partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce, community members visited K–3 classrooms at Brown and Neck River elementary as guest readers and students and staff participated in school-wide  “Drop Everything and Read” activities together.
