The town of Madison is located in New Haven County, equidistant from Boston and New York. Situated on the Connecticut shoreline, the town has ample access to local and state beaches as well as parks and forests. Madison was ranked as the third safest city in America by Safewise (2017).

A top-ranked school system in the state, the Madison Public Schools district is highly regarded for its curriculum, teaching staff, and deep commitment to developing well-rounded students through academics, arts, athletics, and community involvement. The district boasts a wide breadth of innovative programming, small class sizes, and close-knit learning environments.

Total enrollment is approximately 2,500 students. The district is comprised of  two PreK-5 elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.  The district offers a Pre-K program and Kindergarten is full day.
