Early Dismissal

Unscheduled early school closing announcements will be made by 10:00 a.m. After school and evening activities are canceled on days when school is closed early due to inclement weather. The Town of Madison Beach and Recreation After School Program is also canceled when schools are closed early.

When school is dismissed early the district will send a notification through our app, an email message,  and post a message on our district and individual school homepages.

In the event of an unexpected early dismissal an automated phone message will also go out. Please make sure that the schools have your correct telephone number on file as well as for your emergency contacts.

On a rare occasion, due to extenuating circumstances, school could be dismissed at a time other than the times listed on this page.   In such an event, we will use all of the above listed communication methods to contact you.
