Dear Families and Colleagues,

The District was recently notified of new positive cases in our school community - one at Polson Middle School and five at Daniel Hand High School. Through investigation and consultation with the affected individuals, our District contact tracing team worked quickly to identify close contacts and notified them to quarantine effective immediately. 

Schools are still considered to be safe places thanks to the mitigation strategies we have in place to prevent the spread of infection. Please continue to wear face coverings, practice social distancing, and utilize the following resources to help keep yourself and others safe:   

• Quarantining as a close contact
• Self-screening
• Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control
• Family help and information

We continue to monitor possible cases across our school system. Going forward the District will inform the community of a specific school if and when a positive case occurs. Please refer to the following chart for more information on confirmed positive cases across the district.
