Student Enrollment Process

Madison Public Schools proudly announces openings in our district Integrated Preschool Program for Madison residents. The Integrated Preschool Program is an inclusive program providing services to children who are three to six years old and are determined to be eligible for special education. The program includes typically developing peers who serve as role models, particularly in language and social skills. This inclusive program maintains a highly trained collaborative staff with certified teachers who provide opportunities that serve to enhance all areas of a child's development.

This program uses the Connecticut Preschool Framework as outlined by the State Department of Education as the basis for curriculum. Your child will participate in activities and enriching experiences that enhance personal, social, physical, cognitive, and creative expression development.

Enrollment process for Peer Role Models for TCLC

We have a prescreening process for families who are interested in their child becoming one of our peer role models.  Please note there are a limited number of peer role models in each class.

Enrollment depends on:

  • the number of spaces available
  • the child’s age (children must be at least 3 years of age by August 31st)
  •  All peer role models must be completely potty trained
  • Due to the high volume of applications,  a lottery system will be used to select candidates from the screening process.  Please submit your information by March 1, 2024 to be considered for this lottery.
