CABE Leadership Award - Michael Campanelli

Each year, CABE (Connecticut Association of Boards of Education) sponsors a student leadership award to students in grades 7 through 12. Two students from each school are eligible to receive this award, which is given to those who exhibit exemplary leadership skills. Criteria for the award include:

  • Willingness to take on challenges
  • Capability to make difficult decisions
  • Concern for others
  • Ability to work with others
  • Willingness to commit to a project
  • Diplomacy
  • Ability to understand issues clearly
  • Ability to honor a commitment
