Polson Improvement Plan Updates

We are excited to share that the facilities project at Polson has begun. The plan to improve the HVAC system, upgrade the gym, and renovate the auditorium started on Tuesday, January 20. 

Summer 2026: Building Closure Information 

Due to construction, all of Polson Middle School will be closed to the public from June 23, 2026 to August 21, 2026. 

Parts of the building will experience additional extended closures: 

Main Gym: Closed May 11, 2026 - November 28, 2026 

Auditorium: Closed June 19, 2026 - December 31, 2026

Changes to Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures:

Effective Tuesday, January 20, the pick up and drop off line will be adjusted to allow for storage of construction materials. 

Drop Off: Please enter through the DHHS driveway and circle through the parking lot by the athletic shed and turf field. Students will exit vehicles by the track and enter through the science hallway. Staff will continue to be on site to supervise students. Please do not drop your child off in the parking lot. Cars should exit the school property as normal.

Pick Up: Students will exit the building through the science hallway and will wait for parents/guardians on the grass near the track. Students will enter their vehicle between the athletic shed and Polson School. It will be a single line and may take longer than usual. Cars will proceed through the parking lot and exit as normal.
