Message from the Polson PTO...

September 2018

 

The mission of the Polson Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to support student learning and to promote a strong partnership between home and school, by enhancing student life and educational experiences, by collaborating around issues of school improvements, and by fostering community spirit within the school.

The Polson PTO supports the school in many ways; raising funds to support school programs and events, providing volunteers for school activities, donating funds which have allowed for SMART Boards, cafeteria tables and more. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in school-wide service projects and attend parent education workshops cosponsored by the PTO.

The PTO is an active organization run entirely by parent volunteers. While PTO membership is not required, we encourage families to join. All monies collected benefit every Polson student in one way or another. To join, we ask families to donate $40 for membership dues; the PTO does not have any fundraisers during the school year. This idea has been met with great enthusiasm.
