Author Leslie Connor Visits Polson
On Tuesday, December 3, author, and Madison resident, Leslie Connor, visited with our grade eight student writers during their creative writing unit to speak about revising fiction. Leslie shared her own writing journey from childhood until present day, gave us a glimpse into her newest book, spoke about working with editors and writing groups at the professional level, and answered many questions the students asked regarding the writing process at every stage.
Grade eight teachers will be incorporating her advice into their lessons and small group work. Polson's language arts and library media departments thank Leslie Connor for her generosity and wisdom. Our students benefited greatly
