On Oct. 26, Nutmeg-nominated author Tommy Greenwald visited Polson students to talk about his work as an author. Greenwald shared some facts about his writing process, where he draws his inspiration from, and some of the challenges he encountered as an author. Students were able to ask questions and have Greenwald sign copies of his book.
Tommy Greenwald is a playwright and children’s book author. His first middle-grade fiction book was Charlie Joe Jackson’s Guide to Not Reading, a book about a reluctant reader that Greenwald was inspired to write after struggling to encourage his three sons to read. One of his more recent books, Game Changer, has been nominated for and received numerous awards.
